Our Story

Jason was loved by all who met him. He was an avid horseman who was heavily involved in Jackson County 4H. First as a member when he was a child, then as a mentor and leader for the children who shared his passion. Jason touched many lives through horses and taught so many young riders including his son the skills they needed to be great horsemen.

We believe that by establishing a scholarship fund, we can honor his legacy and continue supporting the aspirations of young individuals who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership potential, and a commitment to making a positive impact in their communities.

We have partnered with Sunset Trails Stables and are having a trail ride & silent auction event November 12, 2023. The purpose of the fundraiser is to raise funds to provide financial assistance to deserving students who may not have the financial means to pursue higher education. We envision this scholarship as a way to empower and uplift the next generation, giving them the opportunity to fulfill their dreams and create a better future for themselves and their families.
